Insider Kelvin Coello, The Athletic's Sam Stejskal and Pablo Maurer, and ESPN's Stefano Fusaro are all reporting one Sporting Kansas City player tested positive for the coronavirus at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex bubble site being used for the MLS is Back tournament.
El Sporting Kansas City, club donde juega el hondureño Roger Espinoza tiene un caso positivo de coronavirus. Estará debutando el domingo. Ojo que si esto sigue en aumento, el torneo está en peligro.

Multiple sources tell @MLSist and I that a Sporting Kansas City player has been confirmed as positive for COVID-19. Club arrived in Orlando on Sunday, tested negative upon entry, has been training. First game scheduled for this coming Sunday against Minnesota.

Neither Sporting KC nor MLS responded to the story as of Friday afternoon.
Earlier this week, FC Dallas and Nashville SC both withdrew from the tournament following virus outbreaks among club personnel.
A concern as it pertains to this unconfirmed situation is that all Kansas City players tested negative for the coronavirus upon arrivals to the Florida hub. If the positive result is deemed accurate, it's likely the infected person unintentionally exposed others to the virus.
Sporting KC begin their MLS is Back campaign versus Minnesota United on Sunday.
