Talismanic Inter Milan Star Among Nominees For October Serie A Player Of The Month

Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been named among the six nominees for the EA SPORTS FC Serie A Player of the Month award for October.

The Turkish international joins Rafael Leao (Milan), André-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Napoli), Federico Bonazzoli (Cremonese), Nicolò Cambiaghi (Bologna) and Elia Caprile (Cagliari) on the shortlist.

The nominations were determined using advanced performance analysis by Kama Sport, based on tracking data provided by the Hawk-Eye system.

The system evaluates not only statistical output and technical events but also positional and movement data.

Therefore measuring off-ball runs, decision-making, and overall contribution to team efficiency.

Inter Star Calhanoglu Shines In Serie A In October

Performances from Matchdays 6 to 9 of the 2025-26 Serie A season were considered in calculating the final ratings.

Calhanoglu’s inclusion reflects his strong form throughout October, highlighted by his brace against Fiorentina.

Indeed, it has been a tumultuous six months for the Turkish midfielder.

He was linked with a move to Galatasaray in the Summer.

However, no official offer was lodged and Calhanoglu remained with Inter.
