Tottenham need to strengthen their squad in the summer if they want to build on the Europa League success next season. The Lilywhites are hoping to kickstart a new era at N17 under Thomas Frank by bouncing back in the Premier League and aiming to instil a winning culture at the club. To achieve that, Daniel Levy must make sure that the Danish tactician is backed sufficiently in the transfer market.
The North London club is looking to bolster the attacking line by bringing in wide players in the summer. Spurs confirmed the arrival of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham earlier last week, ensuring that the right-flank has enough depth for next season. Now, Daniel Levy must focus on bringing in a player that would replace Heung-Min Son on the left-wing for the foreseeable future.
The South Korean is linked with a move away from N17 for quite some time now, and understandably so. Son has faced a gradual decline in form, and it is fair to say that the 32-year-old is way past his best now. This is also the right time to cash-in on the legendary winger as he only has a year left in his Spurs contract.
Tottenham are looking to bring in a left-winger that would keep Mathys Tel on his toes next season and replace Heung-Min Son in the starting eleven. The Lilywhites need to get the signing right as Thomas Frank relies heavily on his wingers to create goal-scoring opportunities for his team. The Danish tactician likes his wide players to cut in and take on defenders.
Taking note of that, Daniel Levy has already identified a perfect player that would fit in well at N17. It was reported earlier that Spurs were interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United. The Argentina international has fallen out of favour at M16 under Ruben Amorim, and he is also given extra time by the Red Devils to sort out his future in the coming weeks.

He’s out of Manchester United project but despite calls from several clubs abroad, Garnacho wants to continue in England as clear preference.

Now, Tottenham have received a huge boost in their efforts to land the 21-year-old. As per Fabrizio Romano (via X), Garnacho’s preference is to stay in the Premier League and sign for a top English club. The Argentina international is keen to prove his critics wrong, and feels that the best place for his development is England.
This comes after the 21-year-old rejected an approach from Al Nassr earlier this week. There is no doubt that Garnacho has immense talent at his disposal, and he showcased that clearly last season in a struggling Man United side. The talented winger bagged 11 goals and provided ten assists in 58 appearances, showcasing his willingness to work hard and improve.
All-in-all, Spurs should test the waters for the Argentinian’s signature as he would represent a long-term investment for the North London club.
