Gary Neville has become the latest pundit to weigh in on the Cristiano Ronaldo situation at Manchester United following the forward’s efforts to leave this summer.
Ronaldo signed a two-year contract last summer but has been eager to secure a departure halfway into the deal following United’s failure to qualify for this year’s Champions League.
United have done little to entertain the possibility of Ronaldo leaving but the 37-year-old seems intent on ending his seven-year association with Old Trafford.
Now, former United captain Gary Neville has become the latest to offer his two cents. Neville, who shared a dressing room with Ronaldo for six years, has argued that the club should accept Ronaldo’s wish to leave.
