Achraf Hakimi providing the strike to give the capital club the 1-0 lead. However, the defending set-pieces have again proved to be an issue for the squad as they conceded on a corner kick.

Nonetheless, this season it seems PSG has a flair for the dramatics as Hakimi would provide the late strike for the 2-1 victory. After the match manager, Mauricio Pochettino spoke at his press conference to discuss his team’s performance.

“We see that the team fights to the end. They have this ability to surpass herself,” Pochettino said. “I am happy with this. The team showed character. We had a good start to the match.”
