Winds will weaken slightly overnight before strong winds with gale force gusts develop during the day on Friday and continue into the weekend. Scattered showers are moving through the coastal waters with rain continuing through the weekend. Peak wave heights between 15 to 20 feet are expected Friday into Saturday. Conditions over the waters will be hazardous for small craft and gale warnings have been issued starting Friday afternoon into Saturday afternoon.
