Over the past six decades, the pages of SURFER magazine have been filled with stunning surf imagery that has set many-a-surfers' imaginations ablaze with thoughts of perfect waves and uncharted lineups.

For our new line of apparel, which you can view below, we opened the SURFER archives and pulled out a few classic shots from legendary lensman and former SURFER staff photographer Ron Stoner to create some wearable pieces of surf history.

Stoner, who, in his early 20s, captured some of the most celebrated photographs of the 60s while working for this very publication (and landed six consecutive cover shots at one point), was an icon of the time. Unfortunately, his prodigious career behind the lens was cut short after being diagnosed with schizophrenia and he disappeared off the map in 1978. Despite his brief career, his portfolio of early surf culture is still celebrated today.

In honor of his enduring work, our new line of tees, hoodies and crew necks–which you can sneak-peak above–feature some of the Stoner's most notable images.
