The latest episode of O'Neill's "Strike Missions" series is a straightforward rip clip featuring perfect surfing in perfect waves.

No fancy concept necessary.

"O’Neill Strike Missions is a film series documenting Team O'Neill’s surf adventures across the globe," writes O'Neill alongside the latest episode. "It’s all about tracking swell and striking when the time is right, hoping the gamble pays off and the risk is worth the reward. This episode's power team consisted of Soli Bailey, Eli Beukes, Johanne Defay, Gui Ribeiro, Caity Simmers, Jordy Smith, Winter Vincent, and Noah Wegrich."

When it comes to a strike to Indonesia, the risk vs reward is typically skewed toward the latter. With predictable swell and winds, and so many damn good waves it's almost unfair to the rest of the world, a surf trip to Indo is almost always a score. No big surprises there.

But the best part about this clip is watching Jordy Smith dismantle perfect waves. Smith, like most other WSL surfers, grinds so hard on the CT we don't often see him rip outside of a jersey. But every time we do, we wonder: How does he not have a world title yet?

Might this year, finally, be Jordy's turn?
