17-year-old tennis star Coco Gauff reaches Wimbledon fourth round again

17-year-old tennis star Coco Gauff is back into the second week of Wimbledon.

The American matched her breakout result from 2019 by reaching the fourth round with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Kaja Juvan on Centre Court. Gauff finished with 21 winners and broke her opponent five times.

The Atlanta native will face former Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber, who beat Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the third round, on Monday.

Gauff has been on a tear the last few years. In addition to reaching the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2019, she also made the third round at the US Open and made the third round at the French Open in 2020.

Also on Saturday, Emma Raducanu became the youngest British woman to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon in the Open era, beating Sorana Cirstea 6-3, 7-5 on No. 1 Court.
