The draw has been completed for the ATP 500 Hamburg Open, which will take place from May 18–24, with the final scheduled just two days before the start of Roland Garros.

The tournament will feature defending champion Alexander Zverev as the top favourite for the title, after receiving a last-minute wildcard following a wave of withdrawals from top stars. After the Rome Open, the absences of Jannik Sinner, Lorenzo Musetti, Holger Rune, and others were confirmed.

World No. 3 Zverev will be joined by fellow contenders Frances Tiafoe (No. 16), Andrey Rublev (No. 17), and Francisco Cerúndolo (No. 18), all looking to gain valuable match rhythm before the French Open, the second Grand Slam of the year.

In the top half of the draw, Zverev will open against a qualifier, with a potential quarter-final clash against Felix Auger-Aliassime (No. 27). The Canadian will face local player Daniel Altmaier in the opening round, followed by a possible second-round match against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard or Alexander Bublik.

Also in the top half, Rublev and Brandon Nakashima are favourites for a quarter-final meeting, in a section that includes German wildcard Jan-Lennard Struff and Luciano Darderi (No. 46).

The bottom half is headlined by Frances Tiafoe, with a possible quarter-final matchup against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (No. 26). A strong group of five Argentinians adds spice to the draw, led by Francisco Cerúndolo, who could meet compatriot Sebastián Báez (No. 33) in the quarter-finals. Other notable names include Gael Monfils (No. 43), Jiri Lehecka (No. 38), and Roberto Bautista Agut (No. 56), making for an intriguing tournament in the lead-up to Roland Garros.
