Rick Macci, the former coach of the iconic tennis sisters Serena Williams and Venus Williams, recently took to Twitter to share a fond memory with all fans. He recites a funny incident featuring the very iconic Richard Williams, also known as King Richard.

The 69-year-old former tennis player revealed on the Internet how the “Compton Comedian,” King Richard, would never agree to a loss. 

Macci revealed that he would play one-on-one basketball matches with Williams, who would never once agree on a loss despite losing almost every time. Blaming it on the time, King Richards never took a defeat, said the former coach of the Williams sisters. 

King Richard and I would play one one-on-one basketball all the time and the COMPTON COMEDIAN was Always on the short end. He told me 2 months ago he NEVER EVER Lost to me he JUST Ran Out of Time. Tweeted Rick Macci sharing a fond memory with Williams. 

Richard Williams, who was the first coach for his daughters, paired up with Macci for numerous years to work on both his children and eventually make them into one of the history-making players. 

The movie about Williams revealed the bond he shared with Macci and the efforts they put into training the Williams sisters. The two shared a bond of more than friendship.

Even though it was not publicized a lot, Richard always managed to keep Macci on the edge with a few notorious pranks and tests.

Ever since the legendary coach Rick Macci decided to coach the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena Williams, alongside their father, Richard Williams, he has developed a strong bond with the sisters and their father as well. 

Both the former tennis players used their tennis experience to get the best out of both sisters, who are now one of the most looked-up-to people in tennis. During his time spent with the Williams family, Macci learned much advice and a few tidbits from King Richard himself.

This iconic coaching duo was seen together a few months ago on the tennis court to host an interactive session with the new generation in hopes of getting more people interested in the sport.

They were seen interacting with the kids, sharing their vast knowledge and experience in hopes that one day the kids would get inspired and venture into the sport. 

As two of the most successful coaches with vast experience in coaching, they have helped the Williams sisters rise to where they are right now and might help others if possible.
