Ahead of the 2024 Australian Open, British star Katie Boulter opened up about her relationship with Alex De Minaur and how he has quite rubbed off on her during his lucky run this year.

The Brit has been in the limelight for her long-standing relationship with De Minaur. They publicly announced their relationship back in 2020 and have since been strong, supporting pillars in each other’s careers.

In a recent interview with the Australian Press, Boulter gave a positive update on their relationship and how she finds her boyfriend very supportive.

The World No. 57 was asked how Minaur’s purple patch had impacted her. To which she replied with praise for her boyfriend.

I think he's really rubbed off on me in so many different ways: the way he holds himself, the way he works. Having his expertise on the side, it's great for me because it's a support. It's someone that I can talk to about anything, including everything to do with my career. Said Boulter to the Australian Open press.

Boulter thinks that Minaur has rubbed off on her in some ways—the way he holds himself and the way he works. Furthermore, she adds that he is a great support for her, with whom she can talk about her flourishing career and find ways to improve.

Both of them had to start their years as rivals in a tournament but managed to stay strong and enter the Australian Open to have an impactful run.

The power couple of Katie Boulter and Alex De Minaur have been going strong for the past few years, being strong positives for one another through thick and thin

Ever since touching down in Australia, the Brit finds herself sharing her boyfriend with everyone as she cannot walk alone with him on the streets of the country.

With the current rise of De Minaur, it is not surprising to find himself as one of the people’s favorites. After a dream run at the United Cup, beating the top players back-to-back, he managed to enter the top 10 to create history.

De Minaur is the first Australian since Lleyton Hewitt to make it to the world’s top 10. With some getting used to it, Boulter also revealed that she is proud of her boyfriend for getting the attention that he deserves. Both players will enter the Australian Open with high hopes.

While Boulter faces Yue Yuan in the first round, her boyfriend is up against Milos Raonic to hopefully start their year with some convincing performances.
