Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer are in the same half of the Roland Garros draw.

Daniil Medvedev climbing into the top two in the world this year unleashed the possibility that Nadal and Djokovic could face each other before the final, and that scenario has played out.

Federer is also in that top half of the draw, which looks incredibly strong compared to the bottom section.

Djokovic faces the prospect of having to go through a quarterfinal against Federer and a semi-final clash with Nadal.

Matteo Berrettini is also in the Djokovic/Federer quarter of the draw, as is Felix Auger-Aliassime and Lorenzo Musetti.

Nadal’s quarter is equally as challenging, with Jannik Sinner a possible last-16 opponent.

Andrey Rublev may then await Nadal in the quarterfinal, although he will have to come through the likes of Aslan Karatsev and Diego Schwartzman first.

The lower half of the Roland Garros draw is much more bereft of star power, although it looks as close to a dream draw for Stefanos Tsitsipas as you’re ever likely to get.

The Greek has been in superb form this season, and he has been paired in a quarter with Medvedev, who has never won a match at the French Open.

Big serving duo Milos Raonic and John Isner may be troublesome foes for Tsitsipas, while the same can be said of Reilly Opelka for Medvedev – if he can come through a tough opener against Alexander Bublik.

Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem are in the remaining quarter of the draw. Fabio Fognini, Hubert Hurkacz, and Casper Ruud are in Thiem’s section, while Roberto Bautista Agut is likely to provide the major hurdle for Zverev.
