Ahead of the Miami Open final between Jannik Sinner and Grigor Dimitrov , the latter revealed what he thinks is so special about the Italian. The two players will be locking horns on Sunday, March 31.

The Bulgarian labeled Sinner as the best current player on tour right now as the Italian has lost just one match this season. He lavished praise on the second seed for his ability to produce electrifying performances in every match.

What's special about Jannik is that he's lost just one match this year. He's clearly been the best player right now on tour. The way he's been able to compete day in and day out, I think has been the most impressive thing. Grigor Dimitrov told Tennis TV

When Dimitrov was asked a particular thing about Sinner’s game that impressed him the most, the Bulgarian said it was Sinner’s aggression.

I think the way he's been able to do it is as I said, on a daily basis. Being able to navigate his game and play his game…being aggressive and moving solo around the court. Grigor Dimitrov added

Jannik Sinner surged past Daniil Medvedev in a rather one-sided semifinal with a scoreline of 6-1,6-2. When Sinner was also asked about what he thinks the Bulgarian does best on the courts, the 22-year-old called Dimitrov a great server.

The Miami Open final will be their fourth clash in their career. They first locked horns with each other in the 2020 ATP 1000 Rome, which the Bulgarian won in three sets. In their previous match in a quarterfinal in Beijing, the 22-year-old emerged as the winner in three sets.

Dimitrov has now reached the final of the ATP Masters 1000 for the third time. He previously secured the final berth in 2017 and 2023. In the 2017 Cincinnati Masters final, he defeated Australia’s Nick Kyrgios to lift his first trophy in this category.

Sinner’s only defeat came in Indian Wells to World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinal. The Italian started the year at the Australian Open, winning the title by overcoming Daniil Medvedev in the final in five sets.

Sinner then defeated Alex de Minaur in the ATP Rotterdam final. The victory in the Miami Open summit clash will give the Italian his third trophy of the season.
