American tennis legend Serena Williams has been away from tennis as she hung her racket in 2022. Ever since then, she has kept herself busy with personal and other professional duties. While she is proudly running ventures, Williams is also raising her two daughters really well. On Thursday, she shared an anecdote of a hilarious interaction with her elder daughter Olympia.

The former American tennis ace who had an answer to every question asked by an opponent on the tennis court was baffled by a question thrown by her curious daughter. Williams, during her morning walk, talked about the question Olympia asked her and revealed how she ended up giving a wrong answer.

Williams said that her daughter asked about the president in the office when the tennis ace was born. The 42-year-old said that while she thought of a few names, she ended up saying Barack Obama. Williams also revealed Olympia’s answer.

So this morning Olympia asked me 'what president was in office when I (Serena) was born?' and I am thinking Lincoln? Roosevelt? I ended up just saying Barack Obama (laughs) and she said 'Me too'. Serena Williams said in a video posted on her Instagram story.

Serena Williams needs some ‘me-time’

Although Serena Williams has given up on tennis, she has her hands full with responsibilities. Apart from raising two daughters, Williams is also tasked with running a few businesses. The 42-year-old is also trying her hands on different film projects like Avatar: The Last Airbender. Amid this busy schedule, Williams has talked about the need for me-time.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion declared that she will spend a day in bed relaxing. Williams posted on X about her wanting some ‘Serena time’.

I need to spend a day in the bed relaxing…. focusing on Serena Time. Serena Williams posted on X.

Notably, Serena Williams has been struggling with her motherhood. Although the 42-year-old tries to balance it out, it gets tiring for her as well. Hence, Williams has decided to take some much-needed or better say much-deserved rest.
