Grigor Dimitrov , the Bulgarian ace, has been in sublime form all tournament as he continues to dominate at the Miami Open. Dimitrov continued the rich vein of form he had shown against Carlos Alcaraz and took the first set with ease against Alexander Zverev in the semi-final clash.

It was not even an hour into the game, and the Bulgarian was already one step closer to booking a place in the finals. After taking the first set 6-2, the Bulgarian tried to replicate the same in the second. In an attempt to do that, he played a blinder of shots, exerting his dominance

One particular shot that got the crowd going was the volley he hit against Zverev. After having hit a drop shot, Dimitrov quickly covered the court to hit Zverev’s forehand. Absolute domination by the 32-year-old, who is now one step closer to the Miami Open finals.

After beating No. 1 seed Carlos Alcaraz comfortably, the Bulgarian booked a semi-final clash against Alexander Zverev. Both players were one step away from clinching a spot in the finals at the Miami Open, as they played a nail-biter of the match to get the crowd going.

Grigor Dimitrov keeps his Miami Open title hopes alive, will now face Jannik Sinner

Dimitrov will now play Jannik Sinner for the title. The Italian has been on a major winning streak, having lost only one match so far this year. He beat Daniil Medvedev in the semis to make it to the finals.

The Italian once again finds himself just one win away from the title. Barring a blip against Tallon Griekspoor (where he dropped a set), Sinner has been in sublime form at the Miami Open.

There was no looking back for the young Sinner after that, steamrolling Christopher O’Connell, Tomas Machac and Medvedev en route to the final. A win against Sinner, who has been in such fine form will certainly put a stamp on Dimitrov’s return to the top 10.
