Following the conclusion of the Madrid Open, players have arrived in Rome for the WTA 1000 Masters event. During a practice session, Paula Badosa and Ons Jabeur shared a lighthearted moment by jokingly making fun of Aryna Sabalenka

In a video posted by Internazionali BNL d’Italia’s official X handle, Jabeur hilariously stole Sabalenka’s best friend Badosa. As both Jabeur and Badosa shared a laugh, the former said Sabalenka was still celebrating her birthday.

Best friend on tour. Aryna, I don't know where she is. She's still celebrating her birthday.  Ons Jabeur said

Sabalenka celebrated her 26th birthday on May 5th and received a special message from Badosa. The former World No.2 took to Instagram to share some pictures of them.

Both the players share a special bond on the WTA Tour and often praise each other. Sabalenka once said how having a “soulmate” on the circuit is the best thing that happened to her.

On the WTA Tour, they have faced six times with the Belarusian leading the head-to-head record 4-2. They last played at the Stuttgart Open which Sabalenka won after her best friend retired due to injury.

On the other hand, Jabeur lost to Madison Keys in the Madrid Open quarterfinal and will play her first-round match in Rome on May 10th. Sabalenka is the Madrid Open finalist and her first-round match is also on May 10th. Badosa, on the other hand, will lock horns with Mirra Andreeva on May 7th.

On May 5th, Paula Badosa took to her Instagram to announce that she and Stefanos Tsitsipas have decided to part pay after dating for one year. They began dating in May after Badosa split up with Juan Betancourt and made their relationship official following the Roland Garros.

After careful consideration and many cherished moments together, Stefanos and I have decided to amicably part ways. We have shared a journey filled with love and learning, and it is as friends with immense mutual respect that we now choose to move forward on our own paths. Paula Badosa wrote on Instagram story

Tsitsipas has not announced anything about it yet. He is in Rome for the ATP 1000 Masters Open and will play his first match on May 10th.
