Emma Raducanu has teamed up with Andy Murray’s former fitness coach Jez Green after splitting with coach Dmitry Tursunov. Former world No. 20 Tursunov only joined Raducanu’s coaching team in July after the player parted ways with previous coach Torben Beltz in April. The Russian was always only working with the former US Open champion on a ‘trial’ basis, with The Times reporting it was Tursunov who chose to not extend the partnership into the new season in order to take up a position with a yet unnamed rival player. Raducanu’s link-up with Green means the 19-year-old is working with her FIFTH coach in 16 months as she prepares for the 2023 tennis year and looks to recapture the form that took her to the title at Flushing Meadows. The Brit recently ended her WTA Tour season early because of a right wrist injury and has been hampered throughout 2022 with injury, form and the pressures that come with being a teenage Grand Slam champ. Raducanu has slipped to no. 68 in the WTA rankings from her career high of No.
