One of the brand new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is the explosive Cluster Clinger. In short, this weapon is a bunch of cluster bombs duck-taped to a plunger. If you pick one up you can throw it and it will cling to any surface or player that it hits, and explode shortly after. It’s a great way to flush out an opponent or do a lot of damage very suddenly.

The week 2 challenges ask you to hit ten opponents with Cluster Clingers, so we’ll explain where you can get your hands on them.

How to get Cluster Clingers in Fortnite

Cluster Clingers are in the standard loot pool for Chapter 5 Season 1, which means you can find them just about anywhere. They have a chance to come out of any chest you search, as well as spawn naturally on the ground, meaning you won’t have to look for very long to pick up a whole bunch of them.

How to hit opponents with Cluster Clingers in Fortnite

While it’s possible to directly hit someone with Cluster Clinger, it’s extremely hard to do, so we don’t recommend it. Similarly, the fuse time on the weapon is just long enough that most opponents will be able to get out of the way if they see it coming, so instead we recommend sneaking around and trying to catch people off guard with them. If you can land one on a wall they’re hiding behind, then that’ll be pretty much a guaranteed hit.
