If you’re looking to increase your firepower then you’re eventually going to need to seek out LEGO Fortnite’s Blast Cores. These rare items can only be dropped by one enemy, and they’re not all that easy to fight. They may be a little easier to get hold of than Brute Scales in LEGO Fortnite, but you shouldn’t take this task lightly.

We’ll explain how to get Blast Cores in LEGO Fortnite so you can put them to good use.

How to get Blast Cores in LEGO Fortnite

Blast Cores are dropped by Blasters found in the lava caves of Dry Valley biomes. If you need a hand finding caves then check out our guide on how to find caves in LEGO Fortnite. These mobs can be a pain if you’re not careful.

In short, they act a lot like the Rollers you can find on the overworld. They’ll disguise themselves as a rock, but you can spot them as they have spars coming out of the top. Once you get close they’ll pop up and attack, and if you stay too close for too long, they will eventually explode, dealing massive damage.

Whether they die by explosion or damage, the Blaster will drop a Blast Core when it dies, although it is worth noting that you have a chance to also find Blast Cores in the white treasure chests found in lava caves.
