As you grow your village in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to build more and more complex buildings, with more complex items. To do that, you’ll have to get a better crafting bench, we’ve got more details here on how to upgrade your Crafting Bench in LEGO Fortnite if you need to know about that.

One of the ingredients required to upgrade it to Rare tier is three Sand Shells, and we’ll tell you exactly how to get them.

How to get Sand Shells in LEGO Fortnite

Epic Games

Sand Shells are dropped from Sand Rollers that spawn in the Beach biome. Surprisingly, the Beach biome is one of the more dangerous in LEGO Fortnite, as it spawns a higher tier of enemy than the grasslands it’s normally attached to.

Sand Rollers are thankfully easier to spot than their grassland cousins, as the yellow rock with plants on top is much easier to spot among the Beach’s sands. We recommend bringing at least an Uncommon Longsword to deal with them, and a crossbow would be even better for avoiding damage.
