Aces Look to end Pre-All Star schedule on a positive note

On Wednesday, July 16, the Las Vegas Aces (10-11) head back on the road to meet the Dallas Wings (6-16) for the second time this season.

The game will air on Vegas 34 and tip-off at 5 pm PT.

The Aces found their way back in the winner’s circle with a 104-102 win over Golden State.

Reigning MVP A’ja Wilson, who missed one game with a sprained wrist injury (right) made her return against the Valkyries with a stunning 34 points, 16 rebound performance.

Jackie Young has been a consistent scorer for the Aces including a 30-point showing last game against Golden State. It was by far one of her best shoot games, going 64.3% from the floor.

Jewell Loyd seems to have found he sweet spot this season. She is averaging 15.0 points in the last three games compared to 2.5 points for the previous two games.

Chelsea Gray and Dana Evans have provided the spark for the Aces as of late. Gray is averaging 12.4 points and 4.3 assists this season, while Evans is 5.7 points in her first 10 games and 9.7 points in the last 7 games.

The Dallas Wings have lost their last three games. The Wings are led by rookie Paige Bueckers. Bueckers is averaging 18.3 points and 5.4 assists per game.

Overall, the Aces lead the Wings all-time 43-36.
