Aces Minnesota
The Lynx started the game 4-5 from the field and led by as much as 7 points (20-13) with 4 minutes left in the first quarter. Minnesota’s 5-out offense caused the Aces some trouble early, shooting 3-3 from three, but the Aces finished the quarter strong, outscoring the Lynx 12-6.
They would come back into the game with three of their own, finishing 4-7 from deep in the quarter. The Aces trailed the Lynx 26-25 after one quarter of play, with guard Jackie Young getting off to a strong start, shooting 2-2 from three.

With the game knotted at 33, the lynx went on a 10-0 run to take their largest lead of the game, 43-33.The Lynx shot 62% in the second quarter and 64% in the half, which contributed significantly to their halftime lead.
At halftime, the Aces trailed 54-46 despite shooting 51%. Jackie Young, who had struggled in the previous two games, got out to a strong start, leading all scorers at halftime with 15 points and hitting 3-4 from three.

The Lynx controlled the third quarter, jumping out to a 10-point lead early (64-54). The Aces would respond many times in the fourth, coming within six, 73-67, on back-to-back Jackie Young threes. It wouldn’t be enough, as the Lynx would answer every Aces surge, leading 78-67 after three quarters.
Tiffany Hayes would score five of the Aces first seven points as they closed the deficit to six, 80-74, to begin the fourth quarter. Minnesota would bring their starters back in and score the next six points, building a 14-point lead, 88-74. The Aces would trail by double digits for the most of the quarter before losing 98-87 to the Lynx.
Five Lynx players scored in double figures led by Napheesa Collier who led the way with 23 points. 7 rebounds, 4 assist. Collier shot 9-15 (60%) from the field and knocked down two three pointers.
Courtney Williams dominated the whole game, ending with a near triple double of 22 points, ten assists and seven rebounds.
Bridget Carleton scored 12, Kayla McBride had 11, and Alanna Smith ended with ten to round out the double-digit scorers.
Four Aces scored in double figures led by Jackie Young who bounced back from struggling the last few games finishing with 26 points.Jackie Young hit six three-pointers, going 6-8 (75%) and shooting 7-15 (46.7%) overall. Young is now sixth all-time in scoring for the Aces franchise.

Kelsey Plum had a strong showing, scoring 20 points on 9-16 shooting, while A’ja Wilson scored 15 points. Tiffany Hayes scored 12 points off the bench for the Aces, while Alysha Clark added eight.
The Las Vegas Aces will travel to Minnesota for another matchup with the Lynx on Friday. The game will tip off 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ION.
