Caitlin Clark has been making all sorts of headlines upon her return to Iowa on Sunday. The Indiana Fever played a preseason exhibition game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena against the Brazil national squad, and it turned out to be quite the homecoming for the former Iowa superstar.

That wasn't the only reason Clark was trending online, though. An attention-grabbing photo of the 23-year-old has also been making its rounds on social media — and for good reason. In it, a side-by-side photo of Clark during the WNBA Media Day shows the clear change in her physical appearance over one year.

There's no denying that the most noticeable part of the photos is Clark's biceps. Her arms look much more defined in her 2025 Media Day photo, which only proves how much work she put in over the span of a year.

Clark has clearly been hitting the gym — especially during the offseason — and the reward for her hard work is quite evident. At this point, however, it remains to be seen how bulking up will impact her game on the court.

One of the ways opponents tried to hold down Clark during her rookie year was by being overly physical with her during games. The Fever point guard is very much aware of this strategy, and it appears that she's responded by putting on a lot of muscle.

With this change in her physical appearance, it's going to be a little more difficult for opponents to push Clark around in 2025.
