Caitlin Clark’s rookie salary with the Indiana Fever may not be the biggest, but she’ll certainly have plenty of other ways to earn now that she’s in the pros. For one, she’s reportedly set to earn millions of dollars with Nike.

According to the latest reports, Clark is set to become Nike’s newest athlete with a massive deal.

Caitlin Clark’s Nike Deal

After Clark became the no. 1 overall pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft, much of the talk has been about how little she will make in the pro league. What many failed to understand, however, is that she will still have her sponsors who have been backing her up since her collegiate days.

Now, one more big brand is joining forces with her, ensuring that money really won’t be an issue for her in the WNBA.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Clark is close to securing an “ eight-figure endorsement deal” with Nike. A signature shoe for Clark is also in the pipeline. That means she’ll be paid $10 million at the minimum.

Apparently, Adidas and Under Armour also made a bid to sign Clark after her previous endorsement deal with Nike ended following the conclusion of the 2023-24 collegiate season. Despite that, though, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star still chose her old partners.

Indiana Fever rookie phenom Caitlin Clark — the No. 1 pick in Monday’s WNBA draft — is nearing a lucrative, eight-figure endorsement deal with Nike, industry sources tell The Athletic,” Charania reported.

“Clark is expected to receive a signature Nike shoe as well, those sources said. Under Armour and Adidas also made sizable offers to Clark, two industry sources said.”

Specific details of the deal have yet to be revealed, though it’s not a surprise Nike pushed hard to sign unarguably the biggest and most popular female hooper today.

Caitlin Clark Fans React To Nike Deal

Sure enough, Caitlin Clark and WNBA fans are ecstatic for the Indiana Fever rookie. While some still couldn’t help but mention her meager league salary, it’s definitely great to see her get her well-deserved recognition and play.

Her partnership with Nike will certainly go a long way in helping put the WNBA and other female players in the forefront.

“She’s gonna start the change the WNBA needed,” a fan commented on Charania’s post on X, formerly Twitter.

Another one said, “It turns out Caitlin Clark will do just fine for herself on a WNBA salary.” A commenter added, “Over 10 mil???? That’s insane good for her tho”

A fourth fan shared, “A MOVEMENT, NOT A MOMENT!!!!”

Many expected Clark to be a catalyst to elevate the WNBA and the women’s game. Sure enough, she’s on the right track.
