After adding Megan Vogel and Michael Joiner as assistant coaches last week, the Phoenix Mercury have made another splash, but this time to their front office.

This evening, the Mercury announced that Fleur McIntyre will be heading to Arizona as an assistant general manager.

She is currently an assistant coach for the Sydney Kings in the National Basketball League (NBL) located in Australia.

With the Kings, she has been an NBL champion twice, coaching men’s basketball in “The Land Down Under.”

When she arrives in the valley, McIntyre gets the opportunity to work alongside some of the best women to ever play the sport.

McIntyre will join general manager Nick U’Ren and fellow assistant GM Monica Wright Rogers following the 2023-24 NBL season.
