Some casual fans may consider July and August the slow time of the sports calendar. That could not be further from the truth, thanks to the WNBA and the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Two of the best athletes on the planet are keeping us on the edge of our seats. New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu is coming off a historic WNBA All-Star weekend appearance. Meanwhile, Alex Morgan is leading the USWNT through the group stage of the World Cup.

Not only are Ionescu and Morgan peers at the top of their game, but they are also signature Nike athletes. So, it was only fitting to see Ionescu show support for Morgan by rocking her USWNT before Sunday's game against the Indiana Fever.

The USWNT jersey worn by Ionescu is available in full-family sizing on the Nike website. However, her brown and white Nike Dunk Low sneakers do not come out until later this week. Below is what fans need to know about Ionescu's Dunks.

Nike Dunk Low

Ionescu wore the Women’s Nike Dunk Low in the ‘Cacao Wow’ colorway. The lifestyle sneakers are scheduled to release at 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, July 28, for $110 in adult sizes on the Nike website.

The 'Cacao Wow' colorway features a coconut milk upper complemented by bright cacao leather overlays. The sail midsole adds a vintage aesthetic to the old-school hoop shoe.

Of course, Ionescu's first signature basketball shoe with Nike is scheduled to release next month. While sneakerheads eagerly await the launch of Ionescu's signature line, now is the perfect time to pick up some Nike Dunks and a USWNT jersey.
