Watch: Caitlin Clark shines in electric first quarter of WNBA debut

The NCAA's all-time leading scorer and WNBA No. 1 pick, Caitlin Clark, wasted little time making an impact during her unofficial pro debut Friday for the Indiana Fever against the Dallas Wings.

Clark knocked down the first shot she took. Unsurprisingly, it came on a deep catch-and-shoot three-pointer.

If going 1-for-1 wasn't enough, Clark decided also to nail her second pro shot, which also came from beyond the three-point arc.

Clark finished the first quarter with a game-high 11 points, going 3-of-4 from the floor, with each of her attempts coming from three-point range.

Before making her mark early on the floor, Clark's presence alone created an excited atmosphere. Despite being on the road, the Fever rookie drew a loud ovation during player introductions in front of a sold-out crowd at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

Clark is already proving to be a difference-maker at the gate. According to Tick Pick, the cheapest ticket to Friday night's preseason tilt between the Fever and Wings in Dallas was $104, with seats averaging $109. In 2023, the average ticket price for a WNBA regular-season contest was $47.
