Minnesota Gophers head coach and Pro Basketball Hall of Fame guard Lindsay Whalen was having fun with her team when she knocked down a half-court shot on Saturday, then busted some dance moves to the cheers of her players and assistant coaches.

As if there wasn't enough to unpack from the video, Whalen broke down practice with two children before asking one of them to make an elephant noise. With some convincing, one of the boys went to the center of a circle and made the noise.

Honestly, it might be the best elephant impression a human has ever made.

It was a positive moment in what's been a disappointing but promising season for the Gophers, who fell to 9-16 after a 76-70 overtime loss to Wisconsin on Saturday. Despite their record, the Gophers are banking on the development of their younger players, such as sophomore Alanna Micheaux, who leads the team with 14.7 points per game, and freshmen Mallory Heyer, Mara Braun and Amaya Battle.

Currently on a six-game losing streak, the Gophers will look to get back in the win column when they host Nebraska on Wednesday night.
