But Clark has clearly been cashing in on her new-found fame during the offseason as she's set to feature on an upcoming episode of "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" with David Letterman.
Netflix released a small snippet of the interview between the pair on social media, which was viewed close to a million times in just 24 hours.
The teaser video was well received by Clark's huge fanbase, with everybody seemingly in agreement they will be watching on April 8.
One reply read: "We will be there!"
Another excitedly wrote: "I can't wait for this episode to drop."
A third posted: "Can't wait to watch!"
One other messaged: "Can't wait to watch the whole thing."
Another said: "Time to get Netflix again."
One other commented: "Definitely tuning into this. This should be a fun watch."
The short clip of the sit-down interview between Clark and Letterman saw the WNBA star joke about 'ruining Christmas' with her competitive drive.
Letterman asked Clark why her competitive spirit was sometimes a 'bad' thing, to which she replied: "When I'm just playing like a casual card game with my family or my friends and then everybody hates me by the end of the night and I'm like, 'oh great, I ruined Christmas'."
She also spoke about her 'love' of Halloween and had the audience laughing at the end of the clip.
"I loved Halloween. When we trick-or-treated in Des Moines growing up, I would be, like, so sweaty under my costume because I was in a dead sprint from house to house," Clark added.
"Like I had to have the most candy. That's how I operated. My dad would completely lose me in the neighborhood and I would show back up at home, and my mom would be there giving out candy, and my mom would get pissed at my dad because it's like, 'Why did you lose our daughter? Why is she running through the neighborhood by herself?' But, it was because I was just trying to beat everybody."
