Caitlin Clark MVP Predictions Spike on Social Media After Sunday's Performance

The Indiana Fever took on the Brazilian women's basketball national team on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa, giving fans across the state and beyond a chance to see the former Hawkeye in person.

The game was dominated by the Fever as they secured a runaway 108-44 victory in front of an enthusiastic crowd packed with Clark supporters and well wishers.

The Fever opened with game with back-to-back three pointers in the opening 45 seconds from Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, setting the tone early.

The Fever continued their dominance en route to a 70-24 halftime lead. The impressive first half showing caused MVP predictions to pour in from across social media for the Fever superstar.

Clark had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists on the day, knocking down four three-pointers during the victory.

MVP predictions poured in for Clark after her big performance vs. Brazil.

"Not only is Caitlin Clark my pick for MVP this year, but I think this team is going to make a deep run, if not make it to the Finals," former ESPN analyst Jemele Hill said on X.

"They have the player, the coach, and the team. Really looking forward to watching them this season."

Another fan chose Clark to become the league's first ever MVP winning point guard, just ahead of Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx and A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces.
