Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark had her brother, Colin Clark, defend her from issues of unfair officiating during her recent games, which often resulted in fouls, ejections, and sometimes even injuries.
In a recent live video, Colin Clark, brother of Fever superstar Caitlin Clark, defended her from controversial officiating by the referees of the WNBA.
In one of the livestream sessions of “Studbudz” by Minnesota Lynx stars Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman, Colin introduced himself and added a subtle call out to the referees at the WNBA.
“I’m Colin, nice to meet y’all,” he said. “Follow my Instagram @ColinClark something something, that’s it, that’s all I gotta say. Fix the reffing in the WNBA, it’s bad, though.”
Caitlin Clark has had several instances of controversial officiating concerns this season, including a recent altercation with a referee. During their recent game against the Connecticut Sun, midway through the third quarter, Clark burst out in frustration over what she perceived as terrible officiating.
Clark was caught on camera challenging referee Michael Price, even threatening to call the WNBA on him. While her voice was not clear in the video, fans were able to make out what she could have shouted to the ref.
“That’s just rude, grow up!” Clark allegedly told the ref. “Come here! Unbelievable. I’m gonna call the league on you.”

Shortly before the call out, Clark was held back by her teammates as she attempted to charge at the ref, still over issues with the referee’s decisions.
Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark will, unfortunately, miss the entirety of the All-Star Weekend due to a groin injury. The festivities were supposed to be a milestone for Clark, as she was the team captain, and the event would be held at their team’s home in Indianapolis.
The announcement of her injury status also meant that she wouldn’t be able to participate in the Skills Challenge portion of the event, which would have marked her debut in a 3-point shootout. In her absence, she will be replaced by teammate Lexie Hull. Hull will now face New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu and Atlanta Dream’s Allisha Gray in the showdown.
Caitlin Clark has been having a challenging season so far. She has missed multiple games due to injury, which also affected her stats, as it resulted in a decline compared to her elite stats during her rookie season.
