Indiana Fever players rally behind Caitlin Clark after big news

Caitlin Clark took another big step in expanding her horizon beyond basketball on Thursday. This is after the Indiana Fever star announced her new picture book entitled “EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams.”

On top of being one of the top players in the WNBA, Clark is now also a children’s book author. Her new picture book, published by Penguin Random House, is set for release on Nov. 3. The hardcover will retail for $19.99.

According to the website, Clark “shares a personal message about the foundation of her success on and off the basketball court: that love and joy matter most” in the new book.

Clark announced her new book via an Instagram post on Thursday.

“BIG NEWS! I wrote a picture book Illustrated by @adriillustration. Available wherever books are sold on November 3rd, 2026! Pre-order your copy from @randomhousekids at the link in their bio,” the 24-year-old captioned her post.

Her Fever teammates quickly rallied behind the two-time All-Star after her big announcement.

“Noah and Pippy are going to love this ” commented Sophie Cunningham.

“She’s an author!!!” wrote Lexie Hull.

“Yesss just for me ” rookie Raven Johnson replied.

“author CC ” posted the Fever.

“” reacted former Indiana guard Aerial Powers.

“Can’t want to have this in my classroom” said ex-teammate Jada Gyamfi.

The outpouring of support speaks volumes about how the Fever players stand behind each other both on and off the court.

The 3-2 Fever will be back in action on Friday for their next game. They will host the Golden State Valkyries in a home matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
