While tonight's card seems to indicate that WWE Payback could be a middle-of-the-road show, don't be shocked if you see a surprise or two on tonight's show.

PWInsider is reporting that The Great Muta has arrived in Pittsburgh ahead of tonight's Premium Live Event. What Muta will be doing on the show, if anything, is unclear right now but one has to assume that if he does appear then he will get involved with Shinsuke Nakamura. Perhaps, he's in the United States for AEW All Out but that seems unlikely since Chicago is over 400 miles from Pittsburgh.

Muta was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year and in January, with WWE's blessing, Nakamura wrestled and beat Muta at NOAH's New Year's show in Tokyo, Japan.

Again, there is no confirmation that he will be appearing tonight but PWInsider noted that the timing is "interesting" and he was flown in on Friday. Click here for another potential spoiler for tonight's show.
