- WWE LFG star Bayley Humphrey has been getting mainstream attention for a move she performed on the reality show.
- Humphrey used her tremendous strength to hit a very unique move on her opponent.
- There are flaws with it, but nothing that can't be polished if Humphrey is signed by WWE.
Coming up with a move that pro wrestling fans have never seen before is a tough ask in 2025. Everything is either a repurposed move or, at best, a tweaked version of something we've seen before. That's why it catches people's attention when someone does do something truly unique, and its uniqueness is just one of the reasons Bayley Humphrey's new move has quickly gone viral.
Bayley Humphrey Hit An Incredible New Finisher During This Week's WWE LFG
[WWE LFG Spoilers] Insane move from Bayley Humphreyby u/R0DAN in SquaredCircle
Humphrey is a contestant on WWE LFG, a wrestling reality show in which up-and-comers are competing for an NXT contract. The Undertaker and other wrestling legends are the judges. Humphrey performed an incredible move on her opponent during the latest episode of the show, and you can tell based on The Deadman's reaction alone that it was something pretty remarkable.
Humphrey's move begins with her opponent in a Pedigree position. However, rather than hooking the arms, Humphrey reaches over their back and grabs the opponent's hands between their legs. The LFG star then proceeds to pull them up into what looks like it's going to be a powerbomb only to shift again, throwing them over her shoulder as she turns with them and slams them to the mat behind her.
There are various reasons why this move is so impressive and why it has started to go viral despite it being performed on what might be WWE's least-watched weekly show. For starters, the power. Humphrey is big and very strong, hence her ability to lift her opponent with ease despite the awkward way in which she needs to do so to perform the move. The speed at which she hits it is also unbelievable - the whole thing is over in around two seconds - and the execution is flawless.
As Impressive As It Looks, There Are Flaws That Need To Be Fixed
Well, maybe not flawless. The replies to the Reddit post above have pointed out some of the potential problems with Humphrey's move. The biggest issue fans have is the setup. As noted, Humphrey needs to grab her opponent's hands to initiate the move. The awkward position she needs to be in to grab their hands requires quite a bit of cooperation from the person on which the move is being performed, something that can take fans out of the moment somewhat if they clock it.
The roster members this move can be performed on should Humphrey earn herself an NXT contract are also going to be limited. Even though she's clearly very strong, it's unlikely she will be able to hit the move on wrestlers like Raquel Rodriguez or Nia Jax. That said, the whole point of LFG, and then NXT after it, is to hone your craft and polish your move set. If Humphrey makes it, and we see this move regularly, it'll look a lot cleaner than it does above.
