AEW TNT Champion Wardlow vs. Christian Cage in a ladder match took place at the AEW Double or Nothing event from Las Vegas, Nevada.

They brawled around ringside before Cage pulled Wardlow off the apron then kicked him in the nuts. Wardlow went for a powerbomb, but Cage countered and climbed a ladder. Cage tried to jump off only for Wardlow to catch him and hit a powerslam. Wardlow spun him around before tossing him onto a ladder. Luchasaurus came out and tossed Cage into the ring so he could stop Wardlow from climbing. Cage with the kill switch off the ladder. Wardlow sent Cage back first onto the ladder before going to the top rope and went for a senton dive, but Cage moved. Arn Anderson came out to coach up Wardlow, who jumped off the top rope onto the ladder, which broke the ladder. Wardlow was chokeslammed by Luchasaurus a few times before Arn got into the ring and bit his finger, which started to bleed. Wardlow with a few chair shots to Luchasours before hitting a senton bomb to Luchasaurus through tables off a tall ladder. Arn pushed Cage off a ladder only for Wardlow to catch him and hit a powerbomb before Wardlow climbed the ladder for the win.
