Fightful and Sports Gamers Online have released more details regarding the upcoming AEW console game titled ‘Fight Forever‘.

Fightful reports that the roster size is around 50 superstars and unfortunately there are set to be some notable omissions from the game for varying reasons. Some DLC content has been discussed for post-release but nothing has been decided on yet.

Some names planned for the game include Owen Hart, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and Ruby Soho on top of the already confirmed names of Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Kris Statlander, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, and Nyla Rose.

Sports Gamers Online reports that the gameplay is set to be fairly simple with a very limited creation suite. Movesets are reportedly set to be limited to that of an early 2000s wrestling game with limited customization options.

Another piece of news is that not everyone is expected to have their officially licensed entrance music. The decision is reportedly strictly a budgetary move due to the game already being severely over budget.

A source told SGO, “The expectations were set when games like No Mercy and Here Comes The Pain were said as inspiration. Games with good gameplay, but reduced customization. If the game is fun, no one will care about the other stuff.”

The game is expected to release this fall for consoles and PC but nothing has been officially announced yet.
