Big Show had been in the WWE for a long time until he jumped ship in 2021 and became All Elite. Now an AEW star who goes by his real name, Paul Wight, the larger-than-life talent has revealed he’s having surgery, again.

Details Regarding Paul Wight’s Surgery

As someone who works as an AEW announcer and wrestles now and again, Paul Wight continues to be a huge fan favorite. He returned to the ring during a Dynamite show in November where he teamed up with The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega and Jericho), as well as Kota Ibushi.

Wight’s team went up against Brian Cage and The Don Callis Family (Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita) in a street fight, where they were victorious. Still, many fans were worried because of how Paul was walking, due to his knees.

Wight engaged with some fans while on the cruise. A Tik Tok video is making the rounds with Wight talking to cruisegoers after his match. They are seemingly chatting about his knees.

He does note during the video to a fan that, “I’m going to get knee surgery”. You can click here to watch the video.

No word on when he’s going to get the surgery done, or how long he’ll be absent from AEW television. On behalf of everyone here, we wish him a speedy recovery when the time comes.
