The Bang Bang Gang are no longer the AEW Unified World Trios Champions following this week’s Collision episode.

Authority figure Christopher Daniels stripped Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn of the Trios titles at Wednesday night’s Collision taping in Calgary, Alberta, Canada after the group attempted to cite the Freebird rule to replace White with Robinson as Champion.

White is out of action selling injuries suffered at the hands of Hangman Page in their Owen Hart Foundation tournament semifinal match on last week’s Collision.

Rather than grant the request to have Robinson replace White, Daniels stripped The Bang Bang Gang of their titles, announcing a future match for the now vacant Championship with Robinson & The Gunns facing The Patriarchy trio of Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne at a date yet to be announced.

The Patriarchy have cited their desire to win the Trios titles in recent weeks in promo segments on Collision.

The angle with Daniels stripping The Bang Bang Gang will air on the Saturday, July 13 Collision airing at 8 p.m. Eastern time on TNT.
