One of the most anticipated wrestling events of every year involving All Elite Wrestling is their cross-promotion pay-per-view Forbidden Door. The Jacksonville-based promotion collaborates with New Japan Pro Wrestling for this event. Now, the pay-per-view is set for its third edition. This will be the first Forbidden Door event under the leadership of Hiroshi Tanahashi. AEW President Tony Khan is also very excited about this pay-per-view.

AEW recently announced that the third edition of the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event will be taking place on June 30th, Sunday, at the UBS Arena at Belmont Park in New York. The tickets will be going on sale from Thursday, April 25 at 10 AM ET. Fans can get their tickets online through AEWTix.com and Ticketmaster.com.

AEW President and Head Booker Tony Khan also shared his thoughts on the pay-per-view. He also assured that it will be the biggest Forbidden Door event yet

“2024 has already delivered some of the most incredible pay-per-view events in the history of
AEW, setting the stage for what will be the biggest Forbidden Door yet on June 30 at UBS
Arena,” said Khan. “Nowhere else on the planet will fans have the opportunity to witness
wrestlers of this caliber from a wide array of backgrounds and promotions perform on a stage
this grand, and we welcome fans from across the world to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime
event.”

Hiroshi Tanahashi also mentioned that this will be his first Forbidden Door pay-per-view as the NJPW President.

“This is my first Forbidden Door as NJPW President, so speaking as a wrestler and as an
executive, I can’t wait to see the sparks fly between NJPW and AEW once again,” said NJPW
President Hiroshi Tanahashi.
