Pro Wrestling NOAH held their Crossover in Sendai PPV last night; a huge power shift occurred during the main event as El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Junior dethroned Kenoh in his 3rd defense to win the GHC Heavyweight championship. Wagner, the Torreon native made history as the first luchador to win the prestigious championship atop NOAH; many would consider the move an upset. Immediately after the match, Wagner Jr was challenged by GLG leader Jake Lee for a championship match on March 31st.

Anthony Greene & Jack Morris retained the GHC heavyweight tag team championships against the duo of Alpha Wolf & Dragon Bane on the undercard.

Backstage, during the post-match interview, a few things occurred regarding the GLG unit. Jack Morris found his next challenge for the GHC National championship, and current partner Anthony Greene made his intentions known of becoming a singles titleholder within Pro Wrestling NOAH ( Morris vs. Greene for the GHC National on 2.23 ). Also, the returning Global Tag League will determine the next GHC heavyweight challengers, “Victory Challenge Tag League.”

  • Manabu Soya & Shuji Kondo
  • Go Shiozaki & Atsushi Kotoge

The winning team of this tournament on March 10th will earn the right to challenge GLG  for the GHC heavyweight tag straps live on March 17th at Yokohama Budokan Hall.

Daga retained the GHC Jr Heavyweight championship against Hajime O’Hara on the undercard. The self-proclaimed “Lion King” of the chaotic NOAH Jrs division promised to beat Hajime in 3 minutes, but that didn’t come to pass. O’Hara choked after 15 minutes against the former TNA Wrestling regular Daga; no new challengers came forward, but knowing the Jrs in the division, that’ll change here soon.

Jake Lee, YO-HEY & Tadasuke defeated the team of Junta Miyawaki, Shuji Kondo & Kazuyuki Fujita in a trios match on the undercard. Post-match, the two former GHC heavyweight champions had a staredown and seemingly teased a future singles match.

Kaito Kiyomiya & Ryohei Oiwa defeated Yu Owada & Yoshinari Ogawa in a tag team match on the undercard.

Ulka Sasaki, Takashi Sugiura & Naomichi Marufuji defeated REAL ( Shuhei Taniguchi, Timothy Thatcher & Saxon Huxley ) in a trios match on the undercard.
