With one week to go until WrestleMania, Raw this past week had one of the most graphic bloody angles the company has done, complete with previously banned blading, involving The Rock and Cody Rhodes.

Rock came out unadvertised on the 3/25 show from the Allstate Arena in Chicago. Rhodes was doing a promo. The place exploded when he came out, a total enormous babyface reaction, even with Rhodes in the ring. He soaked in the crowd for a long period of time while neither man said a word. Rock kept soaking in the crowd. He then whispered something in Rhodes’ ear, apparently along the lines of he was going to make him bleed, and left, with the crowd booing since he never talked.

They did an interview with him again, saying to ask Rhodes what he said. They also made a point to establish he was leaving the building. Rhodes said he wouldn’t say what Rock told him but didn’t think he could do it.

The show ended with a Jey Uso vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match where Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso showed up to interfere, and Rhodes and Seth Rollins made the save. It wound up with Rhodes and Jimmy Uso brawling backstage. Rhodes took out Jimmy, and then Sikoa attacked Rhodes, who got the better of that exchange as well, when Rock appeared.
