Paul Heyman has written a proposed ECW script (and he may have written more than one) for the 6/12 PPV show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Heyman seems to be the point man on creative on this project with Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, Tommy Dreamer and Jim Ross overseeing his work. There have been occasional meetings on the project and many of the key decisions have yet to be made.

At this point, no final decision has been made regarding trying to work a deal to get TNA contracted talent (Shane Douglas, Raven, Jerry Lynn and Kid Kash most notably, as well as possibly Chris Candido) on the show. Heyman wants as many authentic people as possible, and nobody is said to be disagreeing with that on basic principle. Laurinaitis is still negative on using talent under contract to TNA, and others are leaning along those lies. The final decision hasn't been made by Vince McMahon, and no contact has been made with the TNA office regarding working out a deal.
