Arn Anderson and his family are going through an awful tragedy.

In a statement posted on Saturday morning, Anderson (real name Martin Lunde) announced that his older son Barrett has passed away. Barrett was the older brother of AEW wrestler Brock Anderson.

Barrett was 37 years old. Further details regarding his passing haven't been revealed.

Anderson's statement was released through the social media accounts for his Arn Show podcast:

Last night my family suffered a loss that should never he felt by any parent. Our older son Barrett passed away. I am struggling to write this. Tell those you love that you love them. Barrett was just 37.

Arn Anderson has been part of AEW since 2019, working behind the scenes and making appearances as an on-screen character. Brock Anderson made his pro wrestling debut for AEW in 2021. The 26-year-old Brock is currently part of a tag team with Brian Pillman Jr. in AEW.
