WWE brought back Brian Kendrick to work as a producer for the Survivor Series WarGames premium live event. He put the SmackDown Women's Title match between Ronda Rousey and Shotzi together with Jason Jordan.

Fightful Select first reported the news, while Pwinsider.com later reported that Kendrick hasn’t officially re-signed with the company, indicating that he is working on a trial basis.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported in the Daily Update that Kendrick's being brought back was a surprise to "most people, including those at NXT who know him."

Kendrick asked and was granted his WWE release in February after working as a producer. He was set to make his AEW debut on Dynamite against Jon Moxley just a day after his departure, but that was nixed after he was trending on social media because fans posted old clips of him giving conspiracy theories related to the Holocaust and more.

Kendrick stated a decade ago that “the Holocaust is overblown, and the Red Cross stated it was only 250,000 Jews who were killed, and the number was blown up to justify the creation of Israel.” Kendrick said the 911 tragedy was a hologram and Osama Bin Laden’s killing was fraudulent in 2011.

He also discussed his theories about the JFK assassination, the moon landing, big brother, ghosts, and many other conspiracies, which have been debunked. Kendrick did apologize for his comments.
