Barry Windham is on the road to recovery after suffering a heart attack.

Windham's niece Mika Rotunda posted an update on Friday revealing that Windham's condition is now stabilized, and he's no longer in the ICU. Windham is able to talk and stand.

"Thank you to all who have reached out, prayed, contributed and sent well wishes to my Uncle Barry this week," Mika wrote. "I wanted to give an update! I’m grateful to say he is stabilized & out of ICU. Talking & able to stand. Thanks again everyone! There absolutely is power in prayer."

The 62-year-old Windham suffered a "massive" heart attack while going through the Atlanta airport last Friday. He underwent an emergency procedure after the heart attack.

A GoFundMe campaign started by Mika has currently raised nearly $30,000 to help assist with Windham's medical expenses. Mika noted that Windham doesn't have health insurance, and he's been limited with work due to the injuries he suffered during his wrestling career.

Windham, who was one of the standout in-ring workers of his era, is best known in wrestling for having been a member of the Four Horsemen. He's also a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Windham was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Four Horsemen in 2012.
