Bear Bronson of Iron Savages brought up an interesting point regarding the recent backlash to the remake of the movie The Crow.

Last week, Lionsgate released a trailer for the upcoming remake of the movie classic The Crow. Where the lead actor, Bill Skarsgard, looks more similar to Darby Allin than the character Brandon Lee portrayed in the 1990s, which inspired Sting‘s iconic look in WCW.

In one week, the trailer has surpassed well over 100K dislikes on YouTube and backlash from fans of the original movie all over social media.

This backlash caught the attention of All Elite Wrestling‘s Bear Bronson, who took to social media to compare the current backlash of the movie remake to pro wrestling drama, tweeting out:

“The Crow remake feels a lot like Pro Wrestling drama. The older movie snobs & film school students (smaller %) will cry about it on twitter. The casual audience (larger %) will see it with an open mind & think for themselves instead of being pressured to feel a certain way,” Bear Bronson said in a post.
