Seth Rollins is currently recovering from surgery.

Seth Rollins previously suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus in January. He was sidelined for a few weeks, but he returned to the ring in time for WrestleMania 40. Rollins lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40 Night Two, and he has been absent ever since.

During an appearance on The Late Late Show, Becky Lynch, Rollins’ wife, noted that he had knee surgery.

“He just got surgery on Tuesday,” Becky Lynch said. “He had knee surgery, he tore his meniscus a little while before WrestleMania. So his rehab I suppose is running after a little three-year-old. That’ll be great for his knee surgery.”

In addition to his match against Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins headlined WrestleMania 40 Night One. There, he and Cody Rhodes lost to Roman Reigns and The Rock. Rollins also made a brief appearance during Rhodes’ match against Reigns on Night Two. He interfered and tried to stop The Rock, but Reigns took him out.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Seth Rollins will return to WWE programming. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.

Damian Priest Wants To Continue Seth Rollins’ Work

Damian Priest cashed in on Drew McIntyre to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. Moving forward, he wants to continue the work that Seth Rollins did with the title, as he explained at the post-show press conference.

“Last year, I believe I was number three for most overall matches. If I’m not mistaken, I was number one for overall TV matches. I’ll double the amount of matches if I could. The idea of this being the workhorse championship? Bring it. That’s what I want to do. I want it all. Obviously, we know our champion’s schedules change. When you’re the guy, or one of the guys, or one of the girls, a lot is asked of you. Give me the questions – I’d love to give the answers.

“Seth set a precedent with this title, and it’d be disrespectful not to honor what he’s done. I’m one of the first guys to say thank you for what he did, when he brought another Championship to a level that was important to the entire roster. I plan to do it justice.”

Rollins won the title at WWE Night of Champions 2023. There, he defeated AJ Styles in a tournament to crown the champion.
