Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will challenge for the gold at WWE Backlash.

On the April 26 episode of WWE SmackDown, Bianca Belair was announced as SmackDown’s first overall pick. She came to the stage to announce the news, and Kayla Braxton announced that Belair and Jade Cargill would challenge the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) for the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WWE Backlash.

The Kabuki Warriors came out to confront Belair, and Cargill came out to even the odds.

Jade Cargill joined forces with Bianca Belair ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40. The duo teamed up with Naomi to defeat Damage CTRL at WWE WrestleMania 40. Belair and Cargill have targeted the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship ever since.

Asuka and Sane have held the titles since they beat Katana Chance and Kayden Carter on the January 26 episode of WWE SmackDown.
