Big Bill wants to learn from Chris Jericho.

In recent weeks, Chris Jericho has been calling himself “The Learning Tree” on AEW programming. HOOK rejected Jericho’s mentorship, and they clashed at AEW Dynasty. There, Jericho beat HOOK to win the FTW Championship.

On the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho came to the ring with a new theme song, and the video screen read, “The Learning Tree”.

Jericho then renamed the FTW Championship the “ForThe World Championship,” as he said it was for all of the fans. He stated that HOOK was a hell of a champion, but he still had a lot to learn from The Learning Tree. Jericho also told HOOK to stay down.

Jericho went on to cite the list of men and women who had been through the Jericho Vortex and come out better on the other side. Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Big Bill interrupted and told Jericho that he needed the guidance of the Learning Tree. He called Jericho the Socrates of wrestling, as he took less-established guys to the top.

Bill said that there was nobody better suited for the Learning Tree. Jericho said that he had been watching Bill for years, and he was one of the reasons Bill was in AEW. He told Bill that he would be watching him, and Bill vowed to prove himself.
